105-Rising Rates and New Regulations: Monitoring Your Money Funds & Positioning Your Money Market Holdings
Crane Data's Peter Crane and Dwight Asset Management's John Donohue will discuss the current short-term investing environment and will review the pros and cons of cash during periods of interest rate hikes. The two will also review recent changes in money markets and money fund regulations.

Peter Crane, Crane Data LLC
Peter G. Crane is President & CEO of Crane Data, LLC, a money market and mutual fund information firm. Crane Data is the publisher of Money Fund Intelligence™, a monthly report that includes news, analysis, performance statistics and indexes on money market mutual funds and the cash investment industry. Crane was previously Vice President & Managing Editor of iMoneyNet. He was also author of the book Mutual Fund Investing on the Internet (AP Professional, 1997) and was previously editor of investment newsletters Donoghue’s Money letter and Fidelity Insight. 

Mr. Crane studied economics at Brown University.

John Donohue, Dwight Asset Management
John Donohue serves as Head of Dwight’s Liquidity Management Team and is responsible for strategy development and investment oversight of Dwight’s Liquidity Management Team. John has been recognized by iMoneyNet with a 2002 Top Manager award, a 2001 Honorable mention award and by Lipper for the top performing US Government Money Market fund of 2002. Prior to joining Dwight in 2009, John was Head of Global Liquidity for Lehman Brothers and Neuberger Berman. Prior to Lehman, John worked with Allmerica Asset Management, where he was head of the short duration product group. He also served as a Portfolio Manager for CS First Boston Investment Management. John is a member of the iMoneyNet Money Market Advisory Board and Conference Faculty. He is also a frequent presenter at national and regional industry conferences such as TMANE, and global forums such as the American Chamber of Commerce in Singapore

John graduated with a BA from Saint Anselm College and an MBA from Assumption College .
