The Treasury Management Association of New England is a non-profit education-oriented organization with over 300 members. TMANE's purpose is to provide a forum for an "active and open exchange of concepts and techniques related to the practice of treasury management," which encompasses a wide range of treasury/financial issues.
Representatives
from the corporate, banking, and vendor communities are welcome to join. However,
all such members must have involvement in the treasury/cash management function
or the marketing of such services. In keeping with the educational atmosphere
of the Association, there are no "years of experience" requirements
for the members.
TMANE's membership dues are $125
per person per fiscal year, which runs from July 1 through June 30. An annual
business meeting is held in May with bi-monthly meetings thereafter. The agenda
for the annual business meeting includes election of officers- President, Vice
President, Treasurer, and Secretary, as well as voting on any proposed
amendments to the bylaws.
As one of the largest regional treasury
associations in the country, TMANE is committed to providing an education forum for
its members beyond just the bi-monthly meetings. As a result, the SOURCES OF
EDUCATION CONFERENCE is an annual event
where treasury/finance professionals from all over the country come together to
participate in a truly unique learning experience. The purpose of the
conference is to further the knowledge, understanding, and personal career
development within our industry. It is our hope that through active
participation by the TMANE membership, this goal will be realized.
