What to Think About Before You Hedge
presented by Mike Cornelius, Chatham Financial Corp.

The presentation will cover common issues in interest rate hedging, with a focus on: economic drivers of fixed/floating mix, common legal issues and accounting implications.  In addition, the session will discuss the implications of recent legislative action on the over-the-counter derivatives market and its impact on companies managing their interest rate risk through OTC derivatives.

Regulations -- Clearing the Smoke.
presented by Christopher Lee, Treasury Strategies, Inc.
Regulatory changes are massive, intensive and global.  Treasury managers and bankers have never before experienced disruption as they are today.  While the exact consequences are hard to predict, we know that specific measures will impact both banks and their corporate clients.  This session will trace the foreseeable outcome for a treasury manager’s most important concerns -- bank fees, liquidity, returns on financial investments and the safety of cash.
